Mobility grants for teachers
The Norteas network applies for staff mobility funding through the Nordplus Higher Education programme. Teachers who wish to apply for mobility grants should contact the international coordinator of their home institution for further advice and guidance. In January each year, each school in the network collects information on planned teacher mobility for the upcoming academic year and reports it to NorTeas which applies for funding on behalf of the network. Results / decisions on funding are normally announced in June.
Requirements for teacher mobility:
The grant is available to teachers of any nationality employed at a NorTeas member academy who would like to make an exchange abroad to another member institution within the network. The exchange can include teaching, tutoring, development of teaching materials etc.
• Minimum duration: 8 teaching/contact hours
To and from Greenland: 1300 EUR
To and from Iceland and the Faroe Islands: 660 EUR
Between Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden and Åland: 330 EUR
Per week: 355 EUR (70 EUR pr day, max 5 days pr week)
Per month: 1065 EUR
